"I own the TOM TOM 510 system. I like the fact that I can remove from my car and connect to my home computer for updating or planning trips. I normally travel in the Midwest, Southern and Eastern United States. I like being able to change cards in this unit to provide only the area on the country I am traveling in. I have yet to get lost using this device. The directions provided by this unit have gotten me out of many difficult spots in major cities.
I would like to have map updates available more often than currently provided. The brightness of the unit could be increased because of sun reflections making it hard to see during the day. A small sun shield hood would be nice."
